We're Alive

Well, we made it! It has been a crazy couple of weeks, but we are alive! We moved in just over a week ago and are loving our new house! I have been spoiled rotten! We were just going to replace the dishwasher since it was older and pretty ugly, and Scott said that whatever he replaces, it was going to be with stainless. There was a gas stove, and at the last minute, I decided with kids and since the knobs are on the front of the stove, and how much I really love my flat cooktop stove at my old house (since gas stoves have the huge burners that stick up), we decided to get an electric stove, and Scott said that if we are getting a new stove, he is replacing the microwave too. So, now we have a stainless microwave, stove and dishwasher, and a lovely white fridge! But the fridge is really nice, so we're fine with keeping it for a while! Then we decided to get a new table since ours is really small and only seats 4....with room for only 4 plates/cups on the table...not much room for food and everything else, so we got a bigger table so Lexie will have somewhere to sit! I'll post photos soon! The upstairs looks decent...just some pictures on one of our dresser in our room that we still have to decide where to put...but the downstairs, that is a whole other story! The playroom is put together, although Brayden now thinks there are monsters in the basement and won't go play in there, and has now made McKenzie scared as well (the noise from the Air conditioner scares him....and it is even quieter than our other house...go figure). The office/sewing room is coming together...and the family room is still a mess, but we are leaving the boxes down there to make us go through them and de-junk! Scott can't wait to get a shed built so he can have the other half of the garage for the blazer since right now it is housing our 4-wheeler, mowers, strollers, bikes and all of the other fun stuff! Scott has been working his little heart out doing projects for me! He is such a good husband!
My little brother Jim had his farewell this afternoon and leaves on his mission on Tuesday morning! I can't believe the time has come already! He is so cute with my kids and they will really miss him! It is crazy to think that he McKenzie will be almost 7 when he gets back and Brayden will be McKenzie's age, and Lexie will be Braydens age. Where is life going!
My sister Stacy got engaged a couple of weeks ago too! She is getting married in August down in Manti....so that will be a little interesting with the kids, but we'll have to see how it all works out! So, in the last 2 weeks or so, my mom has helped us move, finished getting my brother ready for his mission, and been helping my sister try to get things figured out for her wedding! It has been a crazy couple of weeks in my family! Anyway, I'll post pictures as soon as I download them from my camera!
