Well after a lot of hard work, and FINALLY a break in the rain, we were able to pour our concrete yesterday! Scott has put so much time into this project! He did everything from excavation (in the POURING rain I might add....it was such a muddy mess) to spreading 4 big trailer loads of gravel, moving sprinklers, burying the down spouts, so that all the concrete guys needed to do was set the forms and lay the concrete! It was a lot of work (on Scott's part) and there is still a LOT more to do to clean everything up....but it is coming together! We are off to go get our shed tonight and will get that built hopefully next week...after the concrete is fully cured! Yeah for getting the other half of our garage back! The blazer can finally park in a garage!
View from the deck. The shed will go on the pad in the corner

View from the driveway. The big pad is the RV pad and then the pad for the shed is behind the big dirt pile. We stamped the walkways and then eventually will color them as well!

We even let the kids do their hand prints! They thought that was pretty cool!

Too fun! I love the kid's handprints! I wanted them to do that in my cement but...I guess the time was not right! YAY for cement!
My favorite part...the handprints of course!! HUGS
I love the house!! Got to love all those fun projects that go along with a new house. Good luck on building the shed.
