Let the season begin.....

Flu season that is. Brayden came down with a pretty nasty cold last Sunday (sore throat, runny nose and COUGHING galore) and so he (and I...Scott was in Las Vegas for work) didn't get ANY sleep because he was coughing so much/hard he would throw up. Then, Monday night(technically Tues morning), Lexie woke up at 1:00am throwing up. Brayden continued to feel miserable with his cold and couldn't sleep because he was coughing so much. Brayden started throwing up on Thursday night (Friday morning) at like 2:00am, then McKenzie started Friday night at about 11:00, and Scott is rounding things off by getting sick this afternoon. They would throw up for a couple of hours, then slowly be able to keep food down. Well, Brayden was throwing up all night and was able to keep food down by Friday mid morning. Friday he acted pretty weak, but could keep food down. He acted just fine by Sat, and spent the day outside helping Scott get some things down out there. Then randomly, last night (Sat night...well, Sunday morning) at like 2:00 am, he threw up again, then was just fine the rest of the night. He was just fine all day, eating normal food, acting just fine, then again, about 6:00 tonight, he threw up, but said his stomach didn't hurt and was still acting just fine. I don't get it! Here's to hoping none of the other kids start up again! So as a consequence, I have not slept in 6 of the last 7 nights, and only spent Wednesday night in my own bed. Also, Brayden shared his cold with Scott and I as well! How nice of him! My white flag is up....I surrender! I'm so done...and it's only October.
