So I just want to brag about my husband for a minute.....Last weekend (Feb 10-12) there was a huge RootsTech conference at the Salt Palace and Scott has been working his tail off to get ready for it. He and one of his really good friends at work were the "Technology Chairs" for the whole conference, and they have been preparing for it for MONTHS! The conference was a HUGE hit and everything went off perfectly! He even made the front page of the program (under committees, first row, left hand column).
He even had to give a presentation on Friday morning (Right side, second one down)
Then at the closing ceremony on Saturday, 6 "Distinguished Presenter Awards" were given out (2 for each day of the conference), where at the end of each day of the conference, the people that attended the classes/presentations that day could vote for their favorite presentation/presenter, and Scott was awarded one of the awards! There were just over 130 presentations all together, and just over 50 the day Scott did his, so he was one of the 6 favorite out of 135!
So yeah, my husband pretty much rocks!
