For Scott's 30th Birthday, I decided it would be fun to go spend time together, just the 2 of us...with no kids (at least for some of the day)! So, I made reservations at Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake, made arrangements with my Mother-in-law for the kids, and have been waiting patiently for the last 2 months for this! We left last night after Scott got home from work, went to dinner, and enjoyed the night just relaxing! This morning we took our time getting ready, enjoyed our fabulous breakfast at the hotel, then headed off to PAY OFF THE DURANGO! Yay for no car payment (at least for a couple of months, til we sell Scott's blazer and get something else for him). Next we headed off to the Gateway Mall where we did some shopping, just wandering around, and enjoyed being together! We hit a movie, and finally headed home in the late afternoon so the kids could see daddy on his birthday too! It was so nice to be able to get away and just spend some time together, without having to worry about the kids! It has been a long time since we have been able to get away overnight, so it was a real treat! HUGE thanks to my wonderful Mother-in-law for spending the night with the kids and taking care of them all day! Happy Birthday Scott! Thanks for being an amazing husband and father! We love you!

It was such a fun time with the kids! The day went by so fast! Glad you had a good time! Love that picture of Scott on the 4-wheeler in front of a port-a-potty! :)
