Last Monday, McKenzie started 1st grade! I can't believe how fast time is flying by! She LOVES going to school and just today told me how first grade is so much better than Kindergarten! She has a great teacher that is very strict and really pushes the kids, but I am so excited McKenzie has her and I think it will be so great for her! McKenzie really likes her too! She loves eating lunch at school (whether it is school lunch or home lunch) and she has adjusted better than I thought she would to being gone all day long!! I also get to see her in action (how she acts during school) because I get to go up every Monday morning and help with the "guided reading groups" and so I am very excited for that!
