This year we signed Brayden and McKenzie up for soccer. They are loving it! They both had their first games last week and McKenzie even scored 2 goals! She is really picking it up and to be honest, I was really surprised at how well she is doing with it being her first year! She's a natural!
Brayden LOVES playing! He wears his shin guards and cleats and brings his ball to McKenzie's practices, games and just to go play outside! His first game took some coaxing. He was really shy/clingy at first and I had to go out with him to try to get him to go after the ball (I think it was because of the crowds and the late night the night before), but after half time he got right into it and had a ball......until he and some other kid crashed into each other and hit heads. He loved it though! The huge smile on his face while he is playing is priceless!
